I must say that the Calendar Steel - Wine is a quality timepiece. From the Premium Miyota 9100 movement to the case design, the bracelet construction with screwed links, the milled clasp with micro-adjustment, the exhibition case back, the numbered edition engraving, and the overall fit and finish—it makes it balanced on the wrist and the readability is superb!—you definitely have an eye for this. Awesome watch. The finish on the watch is great. Lots of details with the body of the watch. To be a Chronograph with a Miyota movement along with a 40r power reserve. These can easily be sold for north of 3K. I highly recommend and plan on purchasing another one soon.
Love this watch, I’m so happy for the opportunity to win. This piece punch well above its weight. The quality, details, complications are the highlights. Normally watches usually cheap out on the bracelet but it’s durable has a micro adjustment bracelet, integrated. Comes with an extra strap and watch roll for only $600. I’m in wow factor now trust me it’s best to buy now because this watch should be more.

Man I am super impressed, it's super soft inside. I know my watches are protected, I've gotten more into watches now that I'm older and travel more. I like having multiple on me when I go out to Vegas, I used to just wear a smart watch all the time. I still bring it with me but I also like to have a green dial and a blue dial watch with me for events. I will buy another soon because I have a couple more watches and I see their is an awesome engraving option!
Looks better in person, pictures don’t do it justice. Very handsome timepiece. Watch itself feels solid and heavy. Well made with good attention to detail. The color scheme matches my work attire and will be my new favorite work watch. I appreciated the updates and communication. Definitely would recommend! Thank you for a great product.
I funded this watch through Kickstarter almost a year ago! It came in yesterday. Absolutely beautiful calendar Watch. It’s heavy and feels very high quality. Great packaging and case with a complimentary leather strap included. Probably one of my new favorites. It’s a bit smaller case size than most of my others so it’s a bit sleeker for work. The black metal and wine colored dial match most of my wardrobe nicely. Very happy!
First time writing a review;
I purchased this watch some time last year during the kickstarter campaign and I’ve been eagerly watching the updates as they come in. I was meant to receive this watch on the 16th, so I was beyond excited to see it sitting waiting for me today, 2/13/23.
First impressions
Packaging
The watch came really well packaged in a small bubble-wrapped box. The design of the watch case itself draws the eye. I especially like the Yellow. Once opened, the watch is presented to you in a plush, soft and well designed case that shows the watch off very well.
Watch
The watch comes wrapped in a protective plastic film, it's got a fantastic weight to it (I'm a fan of heavier watches). Some may find that a negative. In the box, as well as the black metal watch strap, was a brown leather watch strap which was an added bonus. The red of the watch face and the overall design is everything it was described to be and more. The face, although it houses many data points (24 hour clock, day, date and month) is not overcrowded and is easy to read.
The ONLY thing I will say is that there are no instructions in the box on how to adjust the metal watch strap (see my notes below “Instructions and support” for more on that”)
Instructions and support.
The instructions that come with the watch walk you very well through setting the watch up, the day, date, month and time. Again, a slight criticism; I’m not overly familiar with watches and their inner workings and tend to have a heavy hand. I was unsure about how to reseat the crown correctly.
I reached out via Facebook messenger and was quickly taken care of. Overall, I would rate my first experience with Sovrygn as a solid 9.5 out of 10. The watch gets 10 out of 10 for everything we were promised and more. Buy with confidence.

A few months ago I asked about rose gold watches in this group, looking for something to go with my wedding band. The Calendar made by Sovrygn was one of the watches that was added to my post; I immediately fell in love with it. January came around, couldn’t get that watch out of my head, and finally I made the purchase. From ordering to delivery took about 2 weeks, customer service was quick to respond to any questions and super friendly. I came home this morning and the package was waiting for me on my desk, and I had to open it. The black box was pretty simple, but it’s really what’s on the inside that counts. the delivery, presentation, and the quality of the watch have made me a fan of Sovrygn watches. On a side note, my fiancé saw it on my wrist, took one look at it, and she said “that’s never leaving your wrist. I love that watch”. It’s a watch that has been artfully crafted, with lots of complications, a smooth movement, and it makes a very nice statement when worn. Because of the price, quality and attention to detail, I will be following Sovrygn closely to see what else they release.
My first from Sovrygn, but definitely not my last! Great design and robust Miyota movement tells me this will last a lifetime. I’m very impressed with this freshman offering and I’m really excited to see what comes in the future from the brand 👍
